A LOVED ONE STARS ON THE FRONT PAGE OF THE FICTIONAL TRIBUNE
Someone dear to you, perhaps a family member, friend or colleague, has had a milestone, be it a birthday, a promotion or simply has done something nice. Now you can give them a gift they will cherish for decades when you walk up to them, ask “Did you see the paper today?” and hand them a front-page article about them.
After speaking with you about your loved one, I, Michael Krikorian, a veteran Los Angeles journalist, will craft a fictional story inspired by their life and spirit. My goal is to create a piece that, as my former editor at the Los Angeles Times, Bob Baker, used to say, will “make them laugh, make them cry.”
The final work will not be titled something generic like “The Fictional Tribune.” Instead, it will be named after a place or theme that best captures their essence—be it Los Angeles, Chicago, Cucamonga, or Timbuktu.
A front-page story with a banner headline, subhead and 2 to 4 photos about our subject with a story about them, much of it based on the truth, some of it based on their dreams. This is a gift for weddings, birthdays, retirements and other life events that will be the treasured. The article will be printed on 11x17 archival paper (5 copies per order). In addition, you will receive a digital version to use as well
